Meet Minnow Brook
"Small town values with big-time results" is more than just our motto; it's our mission statement. Proprietor and owner Mike Altieri is an Amity native who grew up in Bethany, and he feels truly privileged to be able to live and work in his hometown community. Mike makes it a priority to hire local talent who care about the Bethany area and know their neighbors. There's a good chance you already know "Big Mike" by sight if not by name - watch for the Mike and the Minnow Brook boys around town and be sure to say hello!
Our history
After 17 years working with the CT DOT and learning the ins and outs of landscaping and snow plowing, Mike made the decision to go out on his own, and he's never looked back. He named his new company after the brook that runs through his own back yard, and nothing brings Mike more joy than working with neighbors around town and being an active part of the Bethany community. Once you meet Mike you'll realize that you have never met anyone who loves their job as much as he does. Or is as good at what they do.
Our specialities
We specialize in total property maintenance including lawn care, edging and mulching, planting, tree and shrubbery trimming, power washing, spring and fall cleanups and dry well installation - and anything else that needs doing at your home. New England can be tough on a homeowner and we're always here to help you out.
